Privacystatement

As part of the Association of Interprovincial Consultations (in Dutch: Interprovinciaal Overleg Deze link opent in een nieuw tabblad (“IPO”)), BIJ12 is the implementing organization of the 12 provinces in the Netherlands. BIJ12 is located at Leidseveer 2 in Utrecht and is registered in the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 27261712. BIJ12 respects the privacy of visitors to its website and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

This Privacystatement describes BIJ12’s policy with regard to the processing of personal data that it collects via the BIJ12 website. By using the website, you consent to the collection, use and management of your personal information as described in this Privacystatement.

Which personal data does BIJ12 process?

When you enter your personal data in the contact form or the complaint form on this website, or when you log in to an account or use your data on the forum, that data is sent to servers of BIJ12 and stored there.

Social media plug-ins

BIJ12 uses YouTube and other social media channels to share images with its visitors and other supporters. Some of these third parties place cookies to provide their services, if you have given your consent. BIJ12 tries to limit the number of cookies placed by these social media as much as possible.

Basis and Purposes

BIJ12 only process your personal data on the basis of a legal basis. For example, BIJ12 may process your personal data on the basis of the execution of an agreement, on the basis of your consent, the legitimate interest of BIJ12 or in the context of the performance of a legal task. The latter happens, for example, when BIJ12 carries out work for a province. Bij12 also use the data processed via the website to improve its services, including to handle reports or complaints, for our communication strategy and blog posts.

Share with others

BIJ12 may engage third parties to secure the processing of your personal data on its behalf and to carry out technical management and/or IT maintenance work on, for example, this website. When BIJ12 has processing carried out by third parties, it concludes processing agreements with those parties. Secure email traffic BIJ12

As an implementing organization for the provinces, BIJ12 is regarded as a chain partner within the government. This means that an Information security policy is implemented with additional security measures. In the exchange of information with, for example, the government and other chain partners such as water boards and municipalities, BIJ12 protects all e-mail traffic with end-to-end encryption.
